Is it easy to have my songs mixed and mastered?

It’s very easy! Simply choose the services you would like to use, and following confirmation you’ll be able to upload your songs directly for us to start mixing and mastering!

Why should I get someone else to mix my song?

There is a lot to mixing, and can take years to get to a professional level of mixing. Our qualified team have mixed numerous songs with many very happy clients. It’s important to remember with mixing and production, its just as important as the song, especially when it comes to being streamed and played on radio adverts. People expect a standard, and if it doesn’t sound good enough, it completely lets down the hard work you’ve put into your song. We also have equipment that costs thousands to get the results that we do.

Why should I edit my songs in terms of tuning and timing?

A song doesn’t always need this, depending on genre and what feel you’re going for. If you’re looking for that polished production then you need to consider everything being the best performance it can be. If you listen to 99% of chart songs and popular artists, you will notice all vocals are perfectly in tune, the drums are perfectly in time, as well as all other instruments. We will work with you and your song to find out exactly what you want from this process, if its extreme processing or you would just like some parts being processed to give some organic feel still to your production.

Why should I trust you with my songs?

We have been mixing and mastering for over 17 years. We are highly efficient in production and mixing softwares such as pro tools, Logic Pro x, studio one and cubase. We have worked with the largest selling motown artist of all time, and mixed everything from acoustic, podcasts, rock/ metal to full orchestrations. Technical

In what formats will I receive my songs?

All songs will be provided in 48Khz 24 bit WAV files, and also MP3 files provided. If you require a different format just let us know.

What are stems and do I need them?

Stems are each individual file from the session bounced out, to give you the option of having your individual tracks back to you mixed. These can be used if you want to use them for future edits such as radio edits, to do a remix, or if you want to provide instrumental versions for sync opportunities or backing tracks.

What equipment do you use?

We have a very large list of equipment we use for mixing and mastering. We use Pro Tools, Studio One 6, Cubase 12 and Logic Pro X for mixing and mastering. Our monitoring is Focal Shape Twins Nearfields, Slate VSX, Audio Technica M50Xs and Yamaha MSP10s. 

Outboard equipment we have 2x1176’s, 2x Neve 1073 with EQ, 1x Amek M3000 EQ, 2x SSL 611 EQ’s and 2x HRK ST552 tape emulators. 

We have plugins from izotope, fabfilter, slate digital, oeksound, plugin alliance, waves, softube, IK Multimedia, Eventide, sonnox, UAD and many more!
